Licensing
Massage
therapy requires individual city testing for licensure in most cities
within Colorado throughout Colorado or there is currently no state license
in Colorado the steps for CD licensure are as follows.
- Graduate
- Make application for licensure to any city in which you wish to practice.
Upon receipt of your application the licensing city will run a background
check on you. There are certain felony convictions that will prevent
licensure as a massage therapist ( contact the school for more information
about this.)
- The licensing city will provide you with your examination date upon
approval of your application.
- Upon successful completion of your examination you’ll be licensed
to practice massage therapy in the city in which you tested.
You will study:
Swedish massage, Deep
tissue massage,
Anatomy & physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology Professional standards&
ETHICS, reflexology, Business & Legal Practices, Specialty massages,
Hot stone massage, neuromuscular massage, Trigger Point Massage |
