CARES Act Funding for International Salon and Spa Academy Students
Through the recently passed Federal CARES Act, which allocates emergency relief funding for eligible college students across the country to address pressing needs of students due to the disruption of campus operations, International Salon and Spa Academy (ISSA) is able to offer financial assistance to students.
ISSA is very grateful to have the opportunity to deliver extra financial support to qualifying students during this very difficult pandemic with funds provided by the U.S. Federal Government.
ISSA acknowledges that the institution has signed and returned to Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and that the institution intends to use no less than 50% of total funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Ai
ISSA has designed this disbursement, from the U.S. Department of Education as part of the CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), to assist all currently enrolled Title IV eligible students and ensure that funds are distributed as widely as possible.
The total amount of funds that the institution has received from the Department of Education for HEERF emergency student grants is $237,725.00
Each recipient must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Financial Aid Office for the current 19/20 Award year. The FAFSA application will determine both Title IV eligibility and HEERF Student Grant eligibility.
All students have been directed and encouraged to complete the 19/20 FAFSA if they have not already done so.
ISSA is dispersing the funds to each eligible student automatically with no additional application required. The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs and eligible to receive HEERF emergency student grants is 166. Students will receive automatic distributions.
